With a late goal disallowed, Arsenal draw with Fulham in the Premier League
Away from home, Mikel Arteta’s side miss opportunity to close in on Liverpool in the table

Arsenal drew 1-1 with Fulham this Sunday in the 15th round of the Premier League. At Craven Cottage, the home team opened the scoring with Raúl Jiménez in the 11th minute. Seven minutes into the second half, Saliba equalized with a header. In the 43rd minute, Saka scored what would have been the winning goal, but, with the help of VAR, the referee ruled Gabriel Martinelli offside.

The draw leaves Arsenal on 29 points, six behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand as their derby against Everton was postponed due to weather conditions. Fulham are in 10th place with 23 points. In the next round, Arteta’s team host Everton, while Fulham visit Liverpool.
