Milan beat Girona 1-0 this Wednesday at the San Siro stadium. The match is valid for the seventh and penultimate round of the league phase of the 2024/25 Champions League . The winning goal for the Italian team was scored by Portuguese striker Rafael Leão, in the 37th minute of the first half. Milan’s next game in the tournament will be on Wednesday next week, against Dinamo Zagreb, in Croatia. The Italian team moved up to sixth place in the standings, now with 15 points. Outside the qualifying zone even for the playoffs, Girona hosts Arsenal at the Montilivi stadium on the same day.
