Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies has been linked with a move to Real Madrid , now appears closer to renewing his contract with the German club. The Canadian international only has a contract with the Bavarians until the end of this season.
And, if before the agreement seemed distant, the two parties have come closer in recent days and the Bayern seems to have reached an agreement with the player. According to The Athletic, negotiations between Nick Huoseh, the defender’s agent, and the German directors are on the verge of a positive outcome. The Canadian businessman,who had planned to leave Munich this Friday, will have extended his stay in the German city with the aim of finally closing the deal.
Davies joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018. He has since won the Bundesliga five times and was a key player in the German side’s 2020 UEFA Champions League triumph.
