Arsenal took a two-goal lead but were held to a 2-2 draw by Aston Villa on Saturday in a match for the 22nd round of the Premier League. At the Arsenal Stadium, Gabriel Martinelli and Havertz scored for the Gunners. In the 15th minute of the second half, Tielemans reduced the deficit, and in the 23rd minute, Watkins tied the match. In the 42nd minute, Merino scored for the home team, but the referee disallowed the goal, with the help of VAR, due to a handball by Kai Havertz.
