Conceição-Amorim deal for Rashford to be discussed at meeting
Milan among clubs interested in the English forward
Having not played for Manchester United for over a month, Marcus Rashford is leaving Ruben Amorim’s team and Milan are exploring the possibility of taking the forward on loan, so much so that the two clubs will meet to discuss this possibility.
Sky Sports claims that a meeting between the two European giants is scheduled for the next few hours and that United would even be willing to pay a considerable part of the high salary of the forward (around 350 thousand euros per week), who, this season, has scored seven goals in 24 games.
Solution in sight for Amorim?
Ruben Amorim has already failed to call up Rashford for team games on two occasions. The Portuguese says that the player’s future “depends more on him” than on the coach, after Rashford said he was “ready for a new challenge”. Amorim has never justified the player’s prolonged absences, due to technical choice, but in England there has been discussion about the possibility that he may have been disrespectful to Amorim, and also that he may have gone out at night before a Red Devils game .
Two other clubs also interested
Given Marcus Rashford’s profile, Milan are not the only club interested in signing him, and recently it was reported that both Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing the forward. The move for the Catalans would be complicated, given the club’s financial problems, but not impossible. The Germans are reportedly close to selling Donyell Malen to Aston Villa , which would leave them with a vacant spot in attack.
