Conceição player fails exams at Leipzig and will be ‘returned’
Okafor was recently injured and was not approved by the German medical department
Everything was in place for Milan to loan Swiss winger Noah Okafor to Leipzig , but the deal reportedly fell through after the player failed a medical in Germany, according to Sky Germany.
The loan agreement included a purchase option of 14 million euros and opened an important vacancy in the team led by Sérgio Conceição.
Also according to the same source, tests revealed that Okafor is not fully recovered from a recent injury – to his calves, in mid-December – and Leipzig prefers to abort the operation with the striker.
The player had already said goodbye to Milan: “In life you never know, maybe we will see each other again. For me, it was the best choice. I thank the Milan fans, they will forever remain in my heart.”
