Cristiano Ronaldo went to watch his son train: “The desire is the hardest part…”
Portuguese star compares his son to himself when he was the same age
Cristiano Ronaldo went to watch his eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Júnior, who plays for Al Nassr’s youth team, train, in images shared by Netflix.
In conversation with his agent, Ricardo Regufe, the Portuguese star compares his son to himself, when he was the same age, 14, and playing in Sporting’s youth teams.
“He’s taller than I was when I was his age. And stronger. I was shorter. I think he’s going to be bigger than me,” he said.
Faced with the comparison, Regufe says: “We’ll see if he has the same desire.” Ronaldo agrees: “The desire is the most difficult part.”
