In the duel between the second-placed team and a team on the brink of relegation, Arsenal looked to attack and saw Wolves be cautious, but also have their chances. The Londoners’ momentum had to slow down when Lewis-Skelly was sent off towards the end of the first half. In the second half, Arsenal tried to attack with more force, but they didn’t find many solutions with one man down. Then, the sending off of João Gomes, who received his second yellow card, paved the way for the triumph: four minutes later, Calafiori scored the winning goal.
