Juan Bernabé, former caretaker of the Lazio eagle , fired for publishing photos and videos of a penile prosthesis he had fitted, barricaded himself in his room at the training center, where he had lived for 15 years.
Bernabé would have lost forgiveness to Lotito, who remains intransigent in the decision made. Because of this, the falconer, who previously worked at Benfica, barricaded himself in his room, in a gesture of desperation, and there will already be concerns about the Spaniard’s safety.
Gabriele Antonini, the Lazio doctor who performed the operation, was also fired, but defends Bernabé, who may not have been completely lucid: «Although I strongly dissociate myself from the publications, it is important to contextualize the behavior. I realized that the images were recorded for private purposes and, due to an unintentional error, they were published on his private profile. It was enough for the content to be downloaded and shared without the patient’s control. It is important to realize that Mr. Bernabé was subjected to antibiotics which, combined with the anesthesia he was subjected to, may have influenced his decisions and his lucidity.’
