Hakimi comments on rape allegations: “When you succeed…”
PSG player spoke for the first time about the situation, which dates back to March 2023, and revealed that he was the target of blackmail
Achraf Hakimi spoke for the first time about the rape allegations he was subjected to almost two years ago, in March 2023, a situation that is being dealt with in accordance with the law, in the courts, he assures.
“I’ll be honest. This is the first time I’ve spoken about this publicly with anyone. Because since it happened two years ago, I haven’t said anything about it. It’s in the hands of the courts. That’s the best way to clear things up,” he began by saying, in an interview with Anas Bukhash’s YouTube channel, revealing that he was blackmailed.
“The truth is that when you are successful and things are going well, you become an easy target for certain people and that taught me that you can’t trust many people around you. When this case was brought to justice, we saw that it was just a way to blackmail me,” he explained, assuring that he is innocent.
“They wanted to blackmail me and that’s why we filed a complaint. The courts have handled things very well. So we are in a process that is going well and the justice system has handled things very well, and things will be resolved soon. The whole truth will be known and we will be able to talk more about it, but it taught me to trust a smaller circle of people than I had before, not to trust too many people and that you have to be careful in this world,” he concluded.
