Havertz’s wife shares threats after Arsenal’s elimination: ‘I hope you have an abortion’
“I’m going to your house to kill your baby” was another message received.
Kai Havertz’s pregnant partner Sophia has reported threats she received on social media following Arsenal’s FA Cup exit after her teammate missed a penalty shootout as Manchester United progressed.
In addition to the penalty, Havertz was also accused of missing several clear opportunities during the game.
In the last few hours, Sophia has published messages she received on Sunday afternoon, threatening her and her family. “I hope you have an abortion” and “I’m coming to your house to kill your baby, I’m not joking” were the two messages published by the player’s wife.
“That anyone would think it’s okay to send these messages is shocking to me. I hope they are ashamed; I don’t even know what to say, but please be more respectful. We are better than this,” he wrote in a comment to the two hate messages.
