Liverpool: Klopp gives Salah advice on future
Former coach, now director at Red Bull, says Egyptian is the Reds’ best forward

Jurgen Klopp officially takes on the role of Global Football Director at Red Bull on Tuesday, but he has not been able to escape a large part of his most recent past, as Liverpool manager .
When asked about the situation of Mohamed Salah , who has already said he is in his last season with the Reds, he ‘contradicted’ the striker and advised him not to make changes.
“I hope he stays. He is the best striker Liverpool have had in modern times – and the club has had many great strikers. A fantastic player, a fantastic professional. Absolutely extraordinary. The best ambassador Egypt could have,” he said at the presentation.
Salah’s contract is coming to an end and he is free to sign for a club outside of England.
