Saudis want Uruguayan, but ‘Reds’ have no intention of selling former Benfica player

Liverpool takes stance on Darwin amid interest from Al Nassr

Darwin Nuñez has been named as a target for Al Nassr in this transfer market, however Liverpool have other plans for the Uruguayan forward, the English press revealed this Wednesday.

Although the former Benfica striker has taken on a secondary role since Arne Slot took over as coach, the Reds are standing firm in the face of interest from Saudi Arabia, and are not willing to let go of the player.

Although he is not as prominent as he used to be, the international player for the Celeste national team has contributed with important goals, including a brace in the victory over Brentford, which led the club from the city of the Beatles to veto his departure.

Liverpool’s stance on Darwin has led Al Nassr to look at other options such as Jhon Duran ( Aston Villa ) and Victor Boniface ( Leverkusen ).
