Los Angeles teams will donate to fire victims
Men’s and women’s football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey unite for social action

In a joint statement from clubs in the men’s soccer league (Los Angeles FC and Galaxy), NBA (Lakers and Clippers), NFL (Rams and Chargers), Major League Baseball (Dodgers and Angelinos) and ice hockey (Kings and Ducks) , as well as the women’s football (Angel City) and basketball (Sparks) teams, it was announced that around 8 million euros will be donated to the victims of the fires.
Contributions will go to humanitarian aid organizations, including World Central Kitchen, an NGO founded by Spaniard José Andrés, the American Red Cross, as well as local animal protection groups.
Clothing, hygiene kits , school supplies, footwear and other items will also be distributed at the Chargers’ and Rams’ SoFi Stadiums and at the Los Angeles FC and Dodgers’ Angel City fields.
