The clash between Real Madrid and Mallorca ended in a brawl, with Bellingham and Raúl Asencio clashing with Maffeo , the Mallorcans’ full-back. After the match, in the mixed zone, Dani Rodríguez , captain of the Madrid team’s opponents, said that the Merengues ‘ centre-back had to “show more respect”.

The captain was joined by Omar Mascarell , who, like Asencio , came through the ranks at Real Madrid : «It seems that Mallorca are the bad guys and it shouldn’t be like that. Mascarell says that it all started with some statements made by Maffeo, who, in a podcast , stated that, in a fight with Vinícius Jr., he would “knock him out in 10 seconds”. For the player, these were words taken out of context. “I saw the headlines about what Maffeo said. It was a joke, but Real Madrid had that in mind.
