THE GAME

Manchester City took a two-goal lead but were held to a 2-2 draw by Brentford. Playing at the Brentford Community Stadium, Pep Guardiola’s side scored twice through Foden in the 21st and 33rd minutes of the second half. However, in a tight game, the home side refused to give up and fought back, with goals from Wissa in the 37th minute and Norgaard in the 47th minute of the second half.

Still recovering from the major crisis of recent months, Manchester City stumbles once again and puts an end to their three-game winning streak. So far, the team has 14 wins, eight draws and nine defeats in the 31 matches of the 2024/25 season.
