Hennessey returns to Nottingham Forest after leaving at the end of last season
Nuno Espirito Santo has been given a new goalkeeper boost at Nottingham Forest , with Wayne Hennessey returning to the City Ground after leaving at the end of last season.
Hennessey , 37, signed a contract until the end of the season and will increase competition and support Matz Sels and Carlos Miguel.
“Unfortunately, Wayne suffered a serious injury at the end of last season and it was a difficult time for everyone at the training ground. But he has recovered. He has signed a contract and it is great to have him around. His knowledge, experience, the way he works, it is great to have him here,” commented Nuno Espírito Santo, in a press conference ahead of the clash with Liverpool , counting for the 21st round of the Premier League .
Nottingham Forest , who beat Liverpool at Anfield, are a surprising third, level on points with second-placed Arsenal .
