PSV beat Red Star 3-2 on Tuesday at the Marakana stadium in Belgrade. The match was valid for the seventh and penultimate round of the 2024/25 Champions League league stage . Center forward Luuk de Jong scored in the 17th and 23rd minutes of the first half. Defender Flamingo extended the lead in the 43rd minute of the same half, but he was sent off shortly after half-time. The Serbian team scored in the 26th minute of the second half, with striker Ndiaye, and then with defender Djiga, in the 32nd minute. The Dutch team is now in 16th place in the table, with 11 points, within the qualifying zone for the knockout playoffs.
