Roma beat Genoa and achieve fifth game without losing in Italian
The Giallorossi have now gone six games without losing, winning four and drawing two.
After Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric, Claudio Ranieri seems to be finally stabilizing Roma , who hosted and beat Genoa 3-1 this Friday, in a match that did not feature Vitinha on the field, due to injury.
Dovbyk opened the scoring in the 25th minute, reaching his seventh goal in Serie A , but Masini, assisted by Miretti , equalised, not even eight minutes later.
In the second half, the Italian coach brought on El Shaarawy , who gave the visitors the lead back with a beautiful shot from the edge of the box, following a pass from Dybala , in the 60th minute. An own goal from Leali (73′) sealed the match and secured the three points.
This was the Giallorossi ‘s sixth consecutive unbeaten game – four wins (Genoa, Lazio, Parma and Sampdoria) and two draws away to Milan and Bologna – and they moved up to ninth place in the Italian league, albeit at the expense of Udinese , in this opening match of the 21st round.
