Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to renew his contract with Al Nassr until June 2026 – his previous contract ended at the end of the current season – and thus extend his time with the Saudi club. The information was released by Saudi club Al Khabar , who have revealed the amount of the Portuguese player’s salary.

The forward will continue to receive 200 million euros per year, a figure that could increase depending on the signing bonus and commercial income related to the player’s image rights.

As he was in the final six months of the contract he signed at the end of 2022 when he joined Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future was unknown. However, the Portuguese will remain at the club that welcomed him in the Saudi League, but the same source says that the club has committed to the player to make the team more competitive – Al Nassr, at the moment, is nine points behind the leader of the Saudi championship, Al Ittihad.

Ronaldo’s impact on Al Nassr, for whom he has scored 81 goals in 90 games, extends across the entire league, which has gained unprecedented prominence since the Portuguese star moved there.

Having signed a contract until 2026, Ronaldo will continue to play regularly until the World Cup that same year, to be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada. By the time the competition begins, the player will be 41 years old, but with this renewal, Ronaldo will certainly be hoping to be in good shape to represent Portugal in the world’s biggest international competition for the sixth time in his career.

This season, the forward continues to perform well for Al Nassr, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists in 20 matches and is on a run of six consecutive games scoring.
