Transfer market: Aston Villa announces new reinforcement
Andres Garcia confirmed in Premier League
Aston Villa announced this Tuesday the signing of Spanish Andrés García, from Levante. The English club won Sporting ‘s race for the right-back, closing a deal for 7 million euros plus variables of 2.25 million.
Villa ‘s announcement – which does not disclose contract values or length – says that the 21-year-old defender is “energetic and has an eye for goal”, having scored three goals and provided three assists in 23 games this season.
Garcia is the club’s second signing of the current transfer window, following Dutch forward Donyell Malen’s signing from Borussia Dortmund.
