Barcelona sporting director Deco has spoken about Neymar ‘s future . The Brazilian international, linked to Jorge Jesus’ Al Hilal , has already been linked with a return to Santos and a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) . A return to Barcelona appears to be ruled out.
” Neymar ‘s return to Barcelona was always something that was a long way off. Since he moved to Saudi Arabia, we knew he was a very expensive player, especially due to financial fair play ,” said the former Portuguese international, in statements to TNT Sports Brasil , recognizing the qualities of the 32-year-old forward.
“At his best, Neymar is one of the best players in the world. He still is and always will be. He is welcome at any club in the world. A move for him can never be ruled out, but right now I see him returning to Brazil. The most important thing is for Neymar to play football again. That would bring him joy. Honestly, I don’t know what he will do, but the most important thing is for him to be happy,” he said.
This season, Neymar , who has been plagued by some physical problems, has played two games for Al Hilal .
