Transfer Market: Luis de la Fuente renews with Spain
Spanish coach tied to the ‘roja’ until 2028
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced, this Monday, in a statement, the renewal of the contract with Luis de la Fuente, who is thus linked to the national team of the neighboring country until 2028.
«The coach from Rioja thus extends his successful and unanimously celebrated relationship with the RFEF, which dates back to the beginning of 2013 with his arrival in the lower ranks of the national team and which, since December 12, 2022, has placed De la Fuente in charge of the senior men’s team», says the RFEF statement.
The Spanish coach has already won a Nations League and a European Championship with Spain.
The official renewal ceremony will take place this Monday, at 4:00 pm (Lisbon time), at the RFEF, in Madrid.
