José Mourinho could be about to receive his first winter signing. Diego Carlos , who (still) plays for Aston Villa , is on his way to Fenerbahçe , according to Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in the transfer market.
According to the same source, the Istanbul club has already reached an agreement with the Villans for the transfer of the Brazilian defender for a sum in the region of 10 million euros.
Diego Carlos , who has played for FC Porto B and Estoril , has been at Aston Villa since 2022. This season, he played 17 matches for the Birmingham team, and has not yet been an option for Unai Emery in 2025, as he is dealing with an injury to the foot.
The 31-year-old player also has spells at América Brasil, São Paulo , Paulista, Madureira, Nantes and Seville .
