Transfer market: Renato Veiga agrees to move to Dortmund
Portuguese defender with little space at Chelsea
Renato Veiga ‘s season at Chelsea , where he arrived last summer from Basel for 14 million euros, could be coming to an end. This is because the German magazine Kicker , as well as journalist Fabrizio Romano, have reported that the Portuguese international has already agreed to finish the season at Borussia Dortmund .
With 18 games played for Chelsea, Veiga has been used less and less, especially in the Premier League . According to the same source, the defender trained at Sporting would also like to play more in the center than on the wing, something he has had few opportunities to do with the Blues .
The signing would also be beneficial for Dortmund, whose defence has been plagued by numerous absences – last time out, no first-team centre-back was available to play in the 3-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen .
At this point, all that’s missing is for Chelsea to give the green light to a possible loan of Renato Veiga to the German club.
