Bayern has an important player in doubt for the game against Celtic

Harry Kane may be out with facial injury

Bayern have key player in doubt for Celtic game

Bayern host Celtic on Tuesday in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off and could be without one of their stars: Bayern striker Harry Kane is struggling with a facial injury and could miss the match, warns Bayern coach Vincent Kompany.

“It’s nothing too serious, but we have very little time to recover. Sometimes it takes another day, but we’ll see how Harry feels tomorrow morning. I assume it’s nothing serious,” Kompany said of the England forward, who scored one of Bayern ‘s two goals in the first-leg win at Celtic Park.

“It will be an important game for us and for the whole club. We are very strong at home. I have seen a lot of Celtic games . They have been very good in the Champions League and can be dangerous. We won at Celtic Park and got an important point in Leverkusen . It is a good opportunity to do something good in these six days, which have been very busy. When we have good results, we have a bit more strength and that should help us,” explained the coach about the opponent and the Germans. “It will not be an easy game. We saw how it was in Glasgow. We have to be fresh and mentally ready. We will play at 100% and we want to start well,” he concluded.
