Everton beats Crystal Palace in the Premier League
Away from home, Everton win 2-1 and draw level on points with Palace

ALCARAZ SHINES IN EVERTON’S VICTORY
Carlos Alcaraz was the star of Everton’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace. This Saturday, the player on loan from Flamengo scored his own goal and provided an assist for Beto. Mateta scored Palace’s goal.
THE GAME
Crystal Palace had opportunities to take the lead in the first half, but failed to capitalize on their chances. The home team even scored through Lerma, but the move was disallowed for offside. If you don’t score, you’ll lose. Everton, who sought to counterattack in the first half, were smarter. After Mitchell made a mistake on the throw-in, Alcaraz was quicker and ran to steal the ball. With space, he passed to Beto, who scored Everton’s goal.
The second half began with Palace playing catch-up. Mateta scored early to tie the game. Even so, Crystal Palace were unable to turn the game around at home. Alcaraz, who had already provided the assist for the first goal, scored his own. In the 34th minute, the former Flamengo player scored to give Everton the win.
