Liverpool beat Tottenham 4-0 on Thursday at Anfield in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final. Despite losing the first leg 1-0 in London, the Reds are guaranteed a place in the final. The goals were scored by Gakpo, Salah, Szoboszlai and Van Dijk.

At Anfield, Liverpool made no mistake about Tottenham. The 4-0 scoreline was easy for Spurs, who played defensively to make the most of their advantage from the first leg. Ange Postecoglou’s team spent much of the game sitting back in their own area, waiting for their opponents, who had 26 shots on goal, 10 of which were on target.
