PSG and Paris FC: rivals and with their stadiums separated by… the road
Paris FC, currently in Ligue 2 in a position to be promoted to the top flight, will move in 2025/2026 to a stadium very close to the Parc des Princes

Paris FC, which has the Red Bull group as its majority shareholder, is in second place in Ligue 2 in France and is on track to compete in the top flight next season.
If promotion is confirmed, there is great anticipation for the derbies between PSG and Paris FC, and this Wednesday, the Ligue 2 club made an announcement on social media that promises to further encourage this possibility.
From 2025/2026, Paris FC will play at the Stade Jean-Bouin after reaching an agreement with Stade Français, the rugby club that uses the venue. The Parisian side are thus preparing to swap the Stade Sébastien-Charléty for the Jean-Bouin, which is just a few metres from the Parc des Princes, home of Nuno Mendes , João Neves , Vitinha , Gonçalo Ramos and company. According to L’Équipe , the change of stadium by Paris FC could cause some constraints in the Ligue 1 calendar . PSG and Paris FC will not be able to play at home in close proximity due to security concerns.
The issue of the stadium has been a topic of much debate by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG , who aims to build a new venue, especially because relations between the club and the municipality are tense due to the use of the Parc des Princes.
“I really like the Parc des Princes, everyone loves it. If I were to decide with my heart I would say we wouldn’t leave the Parc des Princes. But when I think with my head, we are dead,” said Nasser Al-Khelaifi, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new training centre in Poissy in November. The Stade de France has also been mentioned as a possible home for PSG .
The saga between rivals Paris FC and PSG could see new chapters if Stéphane Gilli’s team is promoted to the top flight. With 22 Ligue 2 matches played, Paris FC are second, three points behind leaders Lorient and two points ahead of third-placed Metz . Dunkerque, led by Luís Castro, are fourth.
