Qatar threatens to leave PSG after accusations against Al-Khelaifi
Parisian president investigated for alleged vote buying on Lagardère Group board of directors

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG , is being investigated in France for allegedly buying votes on the board of directors of the Lagardère Group, of which he was a shareholder, through a Qatari fund.
According to RMC Sport , this case could end with the Qatari money leaving PSG . Sources close to the Qatari government, cited by RMC Sport , assure that they are “fed up with this abuse”.
“False persecution, blackmail, daily criticism, blaming others for their total incompetence. All the problems in France are their fault. This is pure abuse and everyone is fed up,” it reads.
It is worth noting that Al Khelaifi is suspected of being involved in the change of a vote on the board of directors in 2018 between billionaires Vincent Bolloré, owner of the Vivendi group, and Bernard Arnault, owner of the LVMH group. The Qatari representative voted in favor of Bolloré, but after a meeting with Al Khelaifi, he changed his vote.
