The pairings for the Champions League round of 16
Draw will take place on Friday at 11 am
Benfica knocked out Monaco in the UEFA Champions League play-offs and will face either Barcelona , who they faced in a crazy league game in the league stage, or Liverpool in the round of 16.
Sporting was eliminated by Borussia Dortmund , this Wednesday, in the second leg (0-0), after the heavy defeat in Alvalade, by 0-3.
In addition to Benfica , Bayern , Feyenoord and Club Brugge also secured their place in the next phase of the millionaire league, joining Liverpool , Barcelona , Arsenal , Inter , Atlético Madrid , Leverkusen , Lille and Aston Villa , who finished the league phase in the top eight positions and advanced directly to the round of 16. Four more play -off games will take place this Wednesday, with PSG , Real Madrid , PSV and Dortmund qualifying .

The draw for the round of 16 will take place at 11am (mainland Portugal) on Friday 21 February in Nyon, Switzerland.
