Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new contract with Al Nassr , according to Arabic newspaper Ariyadhiah. Journalist Nicolò Schira, a transfer specialist, also confirmed the news, which should be officially announced soon.
The Portuguese’s current contract was due to end next summer and the club had been in negotiations with the player for some time regarding a renewal. According to information revealed this Monday, the new agreement is for 1 year, plus another option.
Cristiano Ronaldo recently celebrated his 40th birthday. The Portuguese star joined Al Nassr in December 2022. Since the start of this season, the forward has scored 24 goals and provided four assists in 26 games. In total, his career goals have reached 924, with his goal being to reach the 1000 goal mark.
In recent weeks, it has been said that with this new contract, Ronaldo will earn almost 200 million euros per year at Al Nassr .
