Manchester City relived the good times of recent seasons this Saturday. With an impeccable performance, Guardiola’s team imposed itself from the start, completely dominating the match and thrashing Newcastle 4-0, in a direct clash for the Premier League G-4, in the 25th round. The standout was Egyptian Marmoush, who scored three goals in the first half. McAtee scored the fourth.

Marmoush’s first goal was a great one. Goalkeeper Ederson gave a sensational pass to the Egyptian, who came one-on-one and chipped the ball over Dúbravka. The second goal came soon after, when Marmoush received the ball from Gündogan and shot into the corner. The third goal came from another Brazilian assist. Savinho dribbled past his marker, entered the area and rolled the ball back. The Egyptian fired a shot to score.

City have 44 points and are fourth in the Premier League. Newcastle are now seventh with 41 points. Liverpool are top with 57 points and still have a game to play on Sunday.
