Amorim gains ‘reinforcement’ for the last phase of the season
Ayden Heaven is in the final stages of recovery and could be an option after the international break

Manchester United ‘s young talent Ayden Heaven is in the final stages of his recovery from an injury he sustained in mid-March and is expected to be available after the international break.
The defender, signed from Arsenal in the winter transfer window, was injured in the game against Leicester and had to be substituted, with the initial situation looking more worrying. After the game, Ruben Amorim explained that Heaven’s youth did not allow him to give a clear enough explanation about the nature of the injury and pain for the medical team to be able to draw more concrete conclusions.
The English press reports that Heaven is already moving around without protective boots at the club’s Carrington training center and will probably be available for the game against Nottingham Forest after the international break, or at least for the derby against Manchester City .
The initial plans at Old Trafford after signing the defender were to give him more time to settle into the team, but the many injuries that have plagued the squad have forced him to play in the Red Devils’ last few games and he has even started in the last three, including in the UEFA Europa League , against Real Sociedad .
