PSG thrashes Saint Etienne and is one step away from winning Ligue 1
PSG went to Saint-Étienne’s ground to beat the home team six balls to one, in a game on the twenty-seventh day of Ligue 1.

PSG beat Saint-Étienne 6-1 this Saturday, in a match valid for the twenty-seventh round of Ligue 1. The first goal of the match went to the home team, at 9′, through Lucas Stassin.
Gonçalo Ramos established the equalizer through a penalty, at 43′. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia turned the score around, in the 50th minute, with Désiré Doué increasing the advantage, in the 53rd minute. João Neves made it 4-1, at 62′, and Desiré Doué scored twice, at 67′.
Ibrahim Mbaye sealed the triumph in the 90th minute. ad PSG now has 71 points and continues to lead the championship, and could become champion this Saturday if there is a draw between AS Monaco and Nice (they already benefited from Marseille’s defeat).
Saint-Étienne has 20 points and is in seventeenth place, in the relegation zone. João Neves and Gonçalo Ramos were starters, while Vitinha and Nuno Mendes came off the bench.
