Giorgio Furlani admits that the season is falling short of expectations and that winning the Super Cup is “insufficient”

Giorgio Furlani, CEO of Milan , coached by Sergio Conceicao, admitted that performances have been below expectations, but refused to attribute blame to just one person.

The director also denied that there is tension with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan ‘s advisor , and clarified the rumors about a possible departure of Sérgio Conceição and the arrival of another coach.
“We are all disappointed, but also united. There are no issues with Ibrahimovic. There is no issue with the coach or being able to replace him. We are focused on working and finishing the season,” he continued.
“At the start of the season, expectations were high, but we didn’t achieve what we wanted. It’s not enough, despite winning the Super Cup. We must finish the season with honour, starting tonight [ Lazio ],” he added.
