Barcelona draws with Betis and increases lead at the top of LaLiga
Gavi opens the scoring for the Catalan team, and Natan, ex-Flamengo, scores with a header to make it all equal

Barcelona hosted Betis this Saturday, and the two teams drew 1-1 at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. In a match of the 30th round of the Spanish Championship, Gavi opened the scoring after seven minutes. In the 17th minute, defender Natan, formerly of Flamengo and RB Bragantino, tied the match with a header. Barça had 74% of the ball possession, but struggled to overcome the strong attacking sector of the Seville team.
I STUMBLE, BUT NOT SO MUCH
Despite the draw at home, Barcelona increased their lead at the top of LaLiga from three to four points. This is because second-placed Real Madrid were defeated by Valencia this Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu. Barça now has 67 points, compared to 63 for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. Real Betis now has 48 points and is in fifth place. In the next round, Barcelona will face Leganés, while Betis will face Villarreal.
