Inter Milan draws with Bayern and advances to the Champions League semi-final
In a balanced game at San Siro, the Italian team has the advantage of a draw after winning the first leg

Inter Milan drew 2-2 with Bayern Munich on Wednesday at the San Siro in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Lautaro Martinez and Pavard scored for the home side, while Kane and Dier scored for the Germans. Having won the first leg 2-1 in Germany, the Italian team is guaranteed a place in the semi-finals, where they will face Barcelona.
NOW IT’S SEMIFINAL
Having qualified for the quarterfinals, Inter Milan now turns its attention to Barcelona, its next opponent in the Champions League. Barça had already secured a place in the semifinals after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in Catalonia and being defeated 3-1 in Germany in the quarterfinals.
THE FIRST HALF
Inter Milan and Bayern played a balanced game in the first half, with both teams creating good opportunities. In the first half, Inter were more dangerous, but had difficulty hitting the target. The Germans, on the other hand, began to scare Sommer from the 25th minute onwards, but were stopped by a good performance by the Swiss goalkeeper.
THE SECOND HALF
The second half was just as balanced as the first half, but even more eventful. Bayern Munich launched themselves into the attack and opened the scoring after just seven minutes, with Harry Kane finishing a cross into the box. In the 13th minute, Lautaro Martínez unleashed a bomb into the box to tie the match. Three minutes later, Pavard rose alone from a corner kick to score the winning goal. In the 31st minute, Eric Dier scored an unlikely header from the left of the penalty area to tie the game again. But despite the pressure in the final minutes, Bayern were unable to avoid elimination.
