Liverpool are very close to being crowned Premier League champions in 2024/25 . The English Premier League leaders beat West Ham 2-1 this Sunday at Anfield in the 32nd round, extending their lead over Arsenal to 13 points (76-63) with six games remaining in the competition. Striker Luis Díaz opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the first half, after a neat pass from Salah. However, full-back Robertson, hampered by Van Dijk, conceded an own goal in the 40th minute of the second half. Fortunately, the defender, the team captain, redeemed himself with a header in the sequence.

Liverpool face Leicester away next Sunday. If they win that game, and Arsenal lose to Ipswich Town on the same day, Liverpool will become the new Premier League champions . West Ham face Southampton on Saturday.
